Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and administration of storage hardware and backup systems in a 24x7 environment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute infrastructure changes, including storage hardware installation and documentation.
• Manage Fiber Channel SAN infrastructure, covering fabric architecture, switch directors, and zoning.
• Execute new host integration and configure multi-path software for load balancing and failover.
• Perform health checks, storage allocation, and performance analysis on storage arrays and switches.
• Install and configure backup master and media servers in cluster and SAN environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in storage and backup administration.
• Experience managing Dell and Oracle enterprise and mid-tier storage subsystems.
• Expertise in Fiber Channel SAN infrastructure and zoning.
• Proficiency with RAID configurations and disk management tools.
• Hands-on experience with Backup & Recovery Systems and EMC Networker.
• Knowledge of network switches and replication concepts.
• Experience administering Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008, and 2012.
• Ability to configure robotic libraries, storage units, volume pools, and disk staging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows Server 2016.
