Description

You will manage and maintain storage and backup infrastructure, ensuring high availability and efficient data protection across data center and disaster recovery sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring and management of backup activities, including executing restore jobs and troubleshooting failures.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and diagnosis for issues escalated on storage and backup platforms.
• Build, install, configure, and test servers, storage, and backup infrastructure for new deployments or lifecycle replacements.
• Execute high availability, DR failover, and failback configurations.
• Maintain up-to-date project support guides and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 4 years of experience in storage and backup administration.
• Proficiency with Dell EMC and Data Domain deduplication storage systems.
• Hands-on experience with storage libraries and SAN Fabric technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, and email systems.
• Experience managing Microsoft, Linux, and Ubuntu operating systems.
• Knowledge of data backup and restoration methodologies.
• Ability to manage and resolve problems using monitoring software and Networker.
• Competency in shell scripting, automation, and tool implementations.
• Understanding of volume management and database administration.
