Description

You will design, implement, and maintain storage infrastructure for on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring availability, performance, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Automate storage provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using scripting and orchestration tools.
• Lead upgrades, maintenance, migrations, and installations across all storage platforms.
• Optimize storage performance and capacity using industry best practices.
• Manage day-to-day operations, vendor escalations, and technical procedure documentation.
• Participate in on-call support rotations and change control processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in storage engineering, administration, or support.
• Hands-on experience with Dell Isilon/Powerscale and NetApp technologies.
• Proficiency with storage protocols including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB.
• Automation expertise using Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, and Python.
• Experience with cloud storage services such as AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage.
• Knowledge of storage performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience implementing hybrid cloud storage solutions in enterprise environments.
• Understanding of Software Defined Storage and hyperconverged infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITIL standards and industry-standard IT processes.

Preferred Skills

• Strong project management skills for executing implementations from vision to completion.
