Description

You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of block storage and data protection products within an enterprise-level environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the analysis, evaluation, design, testing, and integration of storage and data protection solutions.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to design solutions for enterprise-level storage environments.
• Drive storage vendors toward product improvements and delivery following established development life cycle processes.
• Partner with development teams to create requirements for automation, performance management, and inventory management.
• Support cloud transitions by providing storage solutions for both internal and external cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working within an enterprise-level storage environment.
• Hands-on experience with Pure Storage FlashArray block storage and/or Rubrik r6000 series data protection products.
• Experience with Brocade G series fabric switch products.
• Competency in Windows and Linux/UNIX-like operating systems, including I/O and network stack tuning.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance profiling.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and version control systems such as SVN or GitLab.
• Understanding of SRE principles including user journeys, SLI/SLO, and synthetic probers.
• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Bash, AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating hybrid cloud delivery models with a focus on data coherency.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for testing and SDLC practices.
