Description

Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale SAN, NAS, and DAS hardware and software architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy tiered multi-protocol storage models using Dell PowerMax, Unity, PURE, Cisco, and Brocade fabric architectures.
• Manage storage provisioning and capacity planning, providing near real-time usage statistics and growth projections.
• Support storage infrastructure through installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and performance monitoring.
• Implement storage solutions for enterprise services including MS SQL, Active Directory, Windows Server, Oracle, Linux, and BLOB file repositories.
• Troubleshoot and optimize disk performance across Windows, Linux, and ESXi environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience planning, designing, and supporting large-scale enterprise storage systems.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Dell PowerMax, Unity, NetApp, and PURE storage systems.
• 7+ years of experience with Cisco and Brocade SAN Fabric systems.
• 4+ years of experience with Cisco MDS backbone switches.
• 5+ years of experience supporting storage systems within VMware ESX environments.
• Deep knowledge of fiber channel, iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS protocols.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Linux, Windows, and Ubuntu operating systems.
• Experience managing storage in On-Prem VMware, Cloud VMware (VMC-A), containers, and client Metal virtualization.
• Proven ability to create backup/restore strategies and technical documentation.
