Description

You will design, build, and maintain highly available storage systems that adhere to security and compliance policies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop business cases, RFIs/RFPs, and service level agreements for storage initiatives.
• Design storage systems that meet organizational security and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and isolate root causes of complex technical issues across storage infrastructure.
• Collaborate across the organization to realize technical outcomes and shape strategic vision.
• Manage storage provisioning and performance in integrated Unix/Windows environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant IT experience, including 4+ years in large enterprise storage management.
• 2+ years of experience scripting with Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
• Advanced knowledge of storage technologies and their upstream/downstream interactions in physical and virtualized environments.
• Extensive project experience with Object and NAS technologies, including provisioning and performance management.
• Advanced understanding of Storage Networking concepts (SMB, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, etc.).
• Experience with storage hardware/software solutions, including NetApp, Hitachi, and EMC.
• Experience managing storage in integrated Unix/Windows environments, preferably NetApp clustered systems.
• Proficiency with UNIX and Windows operating systems.

• Experience with NetApp clustered systems.
