Description

You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of block storage and data protection products within an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the analysis, evaluation, design, testing, and integration of storage products.
• Drive storage vendors toward product improvements and delivery within the product development life cycle.
• Collaborate with development teams to define requirements for automation, performance management, and inventory management.
• Support cloud migration by providing storage solutions for internal and external cloud environments.
• Communicate with global engineering teams to implement enterprise-level storage solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working within an enterprise-level storage environment.
• Hands-on experience with Pure Storage FlashArray block storage and/or Rubrik r6000 series data protection products.
• Experience with Brocade G series fabric switch products.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux/UNIX-like operating systems, including I/O and network stack tuning.
• Experience with DevOps tools and version control systems such as SVN or GitLab.
• Understanding of SRE principles including user journeys, SLI/SLO, and synthetic probes.
• Ability to follow and deliver Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) documentation.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, Bash, AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating hybrid cloud delivery models with a focus on data coherency.
• Familiarity with hypervisors (ESX) and Elastic Search/Kibana.
