Description

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of block storage and data protection products within an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global storage engineering teams to design and implement solutions for enterprise storage.
• Drive storage vendors to improve product delivery and performance following established product development life cycle processes.
• Partner with development teams to define requirements for automation, performance management, and inventory management.
• Deliver product evaluation and certification documentation through formal product development life cycle processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working within enterprise-level storage environments.
• Hands-on experience with Pure Storage FlashArray block storage and/or Rubrik r6000 series data protection products.
• Experience with Brocade G series fabric switch products.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux/UNIX-like operating systems, including I/O and network stack tuning.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and version control systems such as SVN and GitLab.
• Understanding of SRE principles, including user journeys, SLI/SLO, and synthetic probes.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash with a focus on testing and SDLC practices.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or hypervisors like ESX.
