Description

You will manage and maintain storage and UNIX systems within a 24/7 mission-critical enterprise environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy new storage servers using Hitachi, NetApp, and Infinidat arrays.
• Execute Oracle Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu builds and deliveries.
• Support server, storage, and database migration activities, including host-based data migration and host-level mirroring.
• Perform root cause analysis for major incidents and manage system performance monitoring.
• Implement continuous security OS patching and engineering initiatives to improve infrastructure resiliency.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in UNIX systems and storage administration.
• Hands-on experience with Hitachi, NetApp, and Infinidat storage arrays.
• Proficiency with Python, Ansible, or Puppet for configuration management.
• Strong understanding of Storage Area Network (SAN) concepts and Fiber Channel fundamentals.
• Deep knowledge of the IP stack, network protocols, and internet services.
• Experience with UNIX configuration management tools and shell or Perl scripting.
• Practical experience in incident, problem, release, and change management.
• Ability to perform systems log management and technical troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Python scripting capabilities.
