Description

You will lead IT system assessments, strategic roadmap development, and business process analysis. Your work directly shapes the organization’s technology infrastructure and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct IT visioning discussions and analyze existing business and technology processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive inventories of IT systems, maintenance costs, vendor contracts, and data governance structures.
  • Perform gap analyses to identify deficiencies in interface technology, support skill sets, and process efficiencies.
  • Develop IT roadmaps and phased transition plans covering system refactoring, training, and infrastructure standards.
  • Manage project lifecycles, including timeline development, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in information systems requirement gathering, selection, development, and implementation.
  • Proven experience with Department of Labor system requirements and maintenance.
  • Expertise in Change Management and organizational change management.
  • Proficiency in Lean Process Improvement and strategy development.
  • Ability to perform technical impact assessments and operational recommendations.
  • Experience in project lifecycle management and risk contingency planning.
  • Knowledge of data sharing capabilities including VPN, SFTP, and API.
  • Experience in quality assurance and certification compliance analysis.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in program enhancement and innovation strategy.
  • Background in providing technical assistance for state or federal program compliance.
