Description

You will perform structural stress analysis for mechanical systems and airframe structures using FEA and classical hand calculations to verify structural integrity for new designs and modifications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform static, modal, and fatigue stress analysis on mechanical and airframe projects.
• Create and review structural analysis result summary presentations and technical reports.
• Coordinate with customers to define and clarify technical requirements.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance under minimal direction.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural analysis on airframe structures.
• Proficiency in finite element analysis using Patran/Nastran.
• Strong hand calculation skills for structural verification.
• Experience with Boeing commercial aircraft tools: IAS, CSW, FAMOSS, FEADMS, and MOSS Duberg.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and effective English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting languages such as VBA or Python.
• Experience using ENOVIA, LCA, or CATIA V5.
• Experience with Repairs or MRB.
