Description

Perform structural analysis and modeling for complex systems in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FEA analysis of complex systems using specialized software packages.
• Perform hand calculations to validate and complement FEA tool results.
• Model aluminum and composite materials for structural integrity.
• Write accurate, concise substantiation reports for engineering reviews.
• Coordinate technical efforts across internal engineering departments and with customers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of industry experience performing FEA analysis in a regulated industry, preferably Aerospace.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Proficiency with ANSYS or similar stress analysis software.
• Experience using CATIA V5 or similar computer-aided design tools.
• Strong solid modeling skills and understanding of the design process.
• Ability to model and analyze aluminum and composite materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong technical writing skills for substantiation reporting.
• Proven ability to multitask and solve complex structural problems.
