You will own complex structural analysis problems supporting product development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inputs across Design, Aerodynamics, and Structures teams for project specifications.
• Review technical presentations, interpret results, and present findings to the Customer.
• Ensure 100% quality and on-time delivery for assigned tasks.
• Develop automation tools and suggest process improvements.
• Prepare technical proposals and business cases for new process areas.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6+ years experience in stress analysis of Aero engine components (Rotors, Cases, Stators, Externals).
• Expertise in structural analysis tools, preferably ANSYS Classic, ANSYS Workbench, or Hypermesh.
• Ability to perform 2D & 3D FE modelling (Hexahedral & tetrahedral elements) using ANSYS-APDL or Workbench.
• Proficiency in linear and non-linear static stress analysis (Geometric, Material, Contact Linearity) via ANSYS-APDL or Workbench.
• Competence in Modal, Harmonic, and transient Dynamic stress analysis using ANSYS-APDL or Workbench.
• Experience with strength, stability, and durability analysis, including damage tolerance analysis to estimate fracture life.
• Ability to develop or modify APDL Macros and build/update FE Models in HyperMesh.
• Strong technical, project management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience scripting using Matlab, Python, VB, or TCL/Tk.
• Knowledge of Hand Calculations, Standards, and Design codes.
