Structural Design Engineer

Structural Design Engineer based in Baroda, Gujarat, India, owning the analysis, design, and detailing of industrial and commercial structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design for RCC and steel buildings, machine foundations, pipe racks, and water retaining structures.
• Perform detailing and review of construction drawings, ensuring compliance with US and Indian design codes.
• Coordinate with clients, site teams, contractors, and vendors across various time zones to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct quality checks and lead review meetings for problem resolution and design assurance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Expert proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP, and STAAD Foundation.
• Hands-on experience with RAM Connection and SAFE for structural modeling and foundation design.
• Strong working knowledge of US design codes and Indian/International standards.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation for drafting and coordination.
• Experience in industrial building projects, including process and non-process facilities.
• Ability to coordinate with onsite teams and manage vendor deliverables.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Industrial Architecture, PHE, and Roadways.
• Proven track record in team leadership and project coordination.
