Description

You will produce design and fabrication drawings for structural steel and reinforced concrete while managing vendor relationships.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Produce design and fabrication drawings for structural steel and reinforced concrete.
• Create conceptual designs for structural projects.
• Review vendor shop fabrication drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare material takeoffs for construction phases.
• Build working relationships with customers, design engineering staff, and vendors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in structural design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Hands-on experience with structural steel detailing.
• Experience with reinforced concrete detailing.
• Ability to interpret and review vendor shop drawings.
• Strong communication skills for vendor and client interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Background in steel or concrete detailing.
