Description

You will perform structural analyses on low-complexity communication structures, including guyed, self-supporting, and monopole towers and their foundations.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses using hand calculations, tower analysis software, and other accepted methods.
• Prepare formal written reports detailing tower capacity and necessary modification recommendations.
• Design modifications for low-complexity projects, including tower reinforcement, extensions, and foundations.
• Review TIA inspection reports to determine required remediation for existing structures.
• Review modification drawings and collaborate with design staff to resolve discrepancies.

Required Skills

• 2 years of experience in structural engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of structural analysis, design methods, and tower structures.
• Proficiency with Auto CAD.
• Experience with construction principles.
• Ability to generate technical engineering reports and deliverables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for presenting ideas and suggestions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties within set timeframes.
