Description

Perform structural analyses and design modifications for low-complexity communication towers and foundations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analyses on guyed, self-supporting, and monopole towers using hand calculations and specialized software.
• Prepare formal reports detailing tower capacity and necessary modification recommendations.
• Design modifications including tower reinforcement, extensions, and foundations.
• Review TIA inspection reports to determine required remediation for existing structures.
• Review modification drawings and collaborate with design staff to resolve discrepancies.

Required Skills

• 2 years of experience in structural engineering or a related field.
• Specific experience with tower structures and construction principles.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for design and drafting.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and design methods.
• Ability to generate technical engineering reports and deliverables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties within set timeframes.
