Description

You will lead structural analysis, design, and detailing for energy infrastructure projects in the Bay Area.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses and design for new and existing steel, concrete, and wood structures.
• Develop BIM models, drawings, calculations, proposals, and technical reports.
• Execute construction administration, including coordinating RFIs, submittals, bids, and shop drawings.
• Conduct field investigations to record existing conditions and verify measurements.
• Collaborate with contractors, fabricators, and consultant teams on project deliverables.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering with 7+ years of experience, or Master’s with 5+ years.
• Proficiency in industrial structural designs and various support systems.
• Working knowledge of ASCE, CBC, IBC, AISC, ACI, and NDS building codes.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows.
• Technical proficiency in Excel, Mathcad, and MATLAB.
• Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) in California.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAFE, SAP2000, RISA 3D, or RAM Structural System.
• Experience in retrofit and rehabilitation of existing structures in seismic zones.
