Description

You will prepare engineering structural and general arrangement drawings with minimal supervision. You will apply client engineering standards to support technical assignments and perform updates based on supplied data. You will maintain cross-functional relationships with technicians, engineers, and manufacturing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple to complex engineering structural and general arrangement drawings.
• Perform drawing updates from supplied data with minimal direction.
• Interpret structural and civil drawings to accurately make corrections.
• Apply client engineering standards during day-to-day technical support.
• Communicate design concepts and information with technical and manufacturing teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in structural or mechanical drafting.
• Proficiency in AVEVA E3D or PDMS.
• Experience with AVEVA Structural Design.
• Associate degree in drafting and design or related discipline.
• Ability to function with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
• US work clearance and ability to handle Export Controlled Information.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ANSI/AWS A2.4 welding standards.
• Field walkdown experience of process plants.
