Description

Analyze and rate Indian structured finance transactions while monitoring existing portfolios. You will author transaction reports, defend credit opinions, and manage active surveillance for ABS, MBS, RMBS, and CMBS deals.

Responsibilities

• Rate structured finance transactions including ABS, MBS, RMBS, CMBS, and pools of stressed assets.
• Perform active surveillance and risk monitoring for existing transactions to identify emerging risks.
• Author and publish transaction reports and contribute to industry research on credit trends.
• Vet transaction documentation and liaise with legal firms and issuers to assess key deal aspects.
• Develop and defend credit opinions and rationales based on rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in credit rating or structured finance.
• Deep knowledge of credit risk within ABS, RMBS, and CMBS domains.
• Experience with real estate debt issuances or corporate securitizations.
• Understanding of securitization markets, recourse/non-recourse transactions, and guarantees.
• Proficiency in Excel-based cash flow modeling and stress testing.
• Ability to analyze corporate credit or distressed assets effectively.
• MBA (preferably from a tier 1 institute), CA, or CFA qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication skills for interacting with issuers and legal counsel.
