Description

You will provide technical specialization for the architectural design, procurement, and build phases of the Next Generation 9-1-1 emergency call system upgrade in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the implementation of a Public Safety ESInet and NENA compliant NG911 system.
• Produce ESInet Core Services device configuration templates and manage network technology deployments.
• Develop OSP connectivity best practices and review vendor designs to ensure compliance with City governance models.
• Identify integration risks and provide test cases for ESInet components.
• Interconnect all Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) at the demarcation point.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in technical, business, product, or platform roles.
• Deep understanding of ESInet NENA i3 network design and IPv4 architectures.
• Proficiency with SIP design and implementation for Voice, Video, and Data.
• Knowledge of network routing protocols such as BGP for IPv4 and IPv6.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to create and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with IT professionals and non-technical stakeholders.
