Description

You will manage supplier quality processes to ensure incoming parts meet design and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop PFMEA, Control plans, and statistical plans (Cpk’s) in alignment with Parker standards.
• Perform virtual and onsite audits of suppliers to validate quality adherence.
• Coordinate with Procurement to qualify new suppliers and develop risk mitigation plans for parts moves.
• Oversee the Quality Assurance for all new product introductions coming from suppliers.
• Utilize advanced quality tools, including statistical analysis and 8D, to drive a Zero Defect culture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role.
• Hands-on expertise interpreting blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Proven experience with APQP/PPAP processes.
• Proficiency in conducting supplier quality audits.
• Demonstrated ability in data analysis and root cause analysis, including using Pivot charts.
• Experience applying Statistical Analysis and PFMEA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• US Person status required for ITAR compliance.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience in process improvement utilizing Lean tools/methodologies.
• 4+ years of Quality Engineer experience within the Aerospace industry.
