Description

You will drive supplier performance and technical compliance for component parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Track supplier performance indicators and scorecards to ensure consistent meeting of defined expectations.
• Drive systematic problem solving and process improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Act as a technical liaison between suppliers, engineering, SCM, and manufacturing sites to resolve issues.
• Manage corrective and preventive action plans, reporting status to manufacturing and executive management.
• Perform on-site supplier assessments and assistance visits for selection and performance improvement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality or related engineering roles.
• Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
• Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma principles and systematic problem solving.
• Ability to provide technical support across engineering and SCM groups.
• Experience managing supplier corrective and preventive action plans.
• Knowledge of supplier performance tracking and scorecard analysis.
• Experience with new product introduction (NPI) and component manufacturability.
