Description

You will manage component quality from external suppliers through performance monitoring and technical problem-solving. You own the end-to-end resolution of manufacturing yield issues and field failures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance and address manufacturing yield issues or field failures.
• Investigate material-related issues during receiving inspection and manufacturing processes in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
• Interface with Project Managers to communicate project status, test procedures, and product reliability concerns.
• Engage with vendors to investigate material issues and ensure timely remediation.
• Analyze failure causes, validate data, and document findings to propose technical remedies.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in supplier quality engineering or a similar role.
• Engineering degree or a related field.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to apply theoretical principles and analytical techniques to resolve technical issues.
• Experience working with industry specifications and standards.
• Strong communication skills for vendor management and internal collaboration.
• Ability to validate and evaluate technical data independently.
