Supply Chain Solution Architect

You will design detailed solution roadmaps and system architectures for specific projects and applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architecture and long-term roadmaps using industry best practices and standards.
• Design and document reusable, scalable frameworks and components.
• Partner with engineers, project management, and product management to move projects from concept to implementation.
• Provide initial effort and cost assessments for departmental initiatives.
• Evaluate technology risks and ROI to assist management in decision-making.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Solution Architect within a retail or supply chain organization.
• Deep familiarity with retail/supply chain business practices and application systems, specifically Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience designing end-to-end full-stack applications and integrating SaaS and PaaS systems.
• Experience building technology roadmaps spanning 3-5 years.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in vendor evaluation and scoring new technologies or tools.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks and patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
