Description

You manage the flow of raw materials and hardware to support customer delivery timelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write purchase orders for raw material, hardware, and subcontracting services using approved supplier lists.
• Follow up on all placed purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery, alerting managers to schedule delays.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all purchased and customer-supplied material and provide monthly quantity reports.
• Develop suppliers in conjunction with engineering, quality, and operations, and send out RFQs.
• Track on-time delivery from all sub-tiers and provide monthly quality ratings and reports to management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier management.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Contract Law.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations.
• Experience in strategic thinking, planning, and building working relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate analysis and exercise judgment.
• Proficiency in written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• BS/BA in a Technical or Business field.
• Experience with PDM and MRP systems.
