Description

You will own L3/L4 support for Linux-based software products, handling complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis in production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Resolve advanced production incidents involving Linux OS internals, memory, processes, and networking.
• Analyze and fix issues related to KVM virtualization and VMware administration.
• Own issues independently from triage to resolution without hand-offs.
• Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis for recurring infrastructure or software defects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in L3/L4 product support or sustaining engineering.
• Strong Linux command-line expertise including OS internals, bonding, VLANs, routing, and TCP/IP.
• Solid understanding of KVM virtualization fundamentals.
• Proven experience with VMware administration.
• Ability to diagnose complex networking and system-level failures.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Java-based platforms, middleware, and databases.
• Scripting and automation experience with Shell or Python.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
