Description

Provide technical support for App Services, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving complex software and infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot software and platform issues using data collection tools to determine root cause.
• Analyze HTTP request handling, including headers and cookies, to resolve web server problems.
• Debug programming issues involving call stacks, threading, synchronization, and performance.
• Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines within a team environment.
• Resolve networking and connectivity issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, and SSL/TLS.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of technical customer support or software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Open-source software (OSS) development in Java, Python, Node.js, PHP, or Ruby.
• Deep experience with HTTP web servers such as IIS, Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, or Gunicorn.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Oryx, Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, PHP, or Ruby.
• Working knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of .Net Core.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, custom images, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, or AKS.
• Knowledge of Azure App Services, Cloud Services, or micro-services architectures.
• Familiarity with packet sniffers such as Wireshark, Fiddler, or Network Monitor.
