Description

You will provide technical support for custom hardware and test peripherals. You will own the installation, debugging, and issue escalation processes for hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Support custom hardware through physical installation, debugging, and escalation to design teams.
• Manage and support common test peripherals including PCs, JTAG, and various components.
• Execute Linux and Windows scripts to assist in customer hardware debugging.
• Convey relevant debug information to design engineers to resolve hardware issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Support Engineer or Technician role.
• Experience with physical hardware installation and debugging.
• Proficiency running Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with common PC components such as PCIe cards, USB, and SD cards.
• Ability to read and understand hardware schematics.
• Physical capability to lift, push, and pull between 50lbs and 100lbs.
• Experience running scripts in Linux/Windows environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with JTAG and test peripherals.
