Description

You will lead technical support efforts within an active trading environment, focusing on engineering, deploying, and sustaining end-user systems and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer, deploy, and sustain desktop solutions and applications utilized by end-users.
  • Mentor and collaborate with technology professionals to deliver Microsoft-based solutions.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and management tools.
  • Manage technical projects, including tracking milestones and target completion dates.
  • Support applications, desktops, and scripts throughout their full lifecycles.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure experience supporting end-user systems.
  • 2+ years of experience engineering and implementing end-user systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Administration-level knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Azure Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell for system management.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Fundamental knowledge of IP networking, routing, and system security.
  • Proficiency in VOIP and SIP video conferencing technologies.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability for night and weekend on-call work and light travel.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Management Information Systems or Computer Sciences.

Preferred Skills

  • Programming knowledge in Python, Visual Basic, or VBScript.
  • Experience with imaging solutions like Windows Deployment Services or SCCM.
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and configuration management tools like Ansible.
  • CCNA or equivalent certification.
