Description

You will perform avionics and electrical system installations and troubleshooting on experimental aircraft in Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and troubleshoot prototype avionics and electrical systems across all aircraft models.
• Coordinate with engineering and technical groups to develop, implement, and monitor assignments.
• Use specialized test equipment to diagnose and resolve aircraft system issues.
• Collaborate with engineering personnel regarding experimental aircraft design.
• Manage and take ownership of your assigned work and decision-making processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with avionics or electrical system troubleshooting.
• Proficiency using specialized aircraft test equipment.
• Ability to work independently on aircraft installations and modifications.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of 2 years of college, technical school, or military avionics/electronic training.
