Description

You manage production systems and resolve application issues to ensure stability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve application issues through code debugging and log analysis.
• Manage incidents and communicate technical status to users and stakeholders.
• Improve application stability by observing failure patterns and advising on fixes.
• Automate failure detection and health restoration using engineering tools.
• Develop run books and trending reports to track application health.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C, C++, VB, .NET, ASP, or Angular.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with RDBMS environments including Sybase ASE/IQ, Oracle, or DB2.
• Practical application of Computer Science data structure concepts.
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and pattern observation.
• Strong communication skills to articulate problems to development teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Experience with Cluster Computing and Big Data solutions (Spark, Hadoop, HDFS).
