SVP - Data & Analytics

You will lead the data strategy and execution for the India business unit, overseeing data architecture, quality, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall data strategy in partnership with Technology and Product teams.
• Lead data migration projects from on-premise systems to cloud platforms.
• Architect and engineer machine learning pipelines featuring online and real-time capabilities.
• Manage large, diversified teams of analytics professionals to deliver predictive modeling and ML solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to define complex problems and design effective analytical solution approaches.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance across all data deliveries and organizational processes.

Required Skills

• 10 to 15 years of leadership experience in Data and Analytics within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven track record of leading a business unit and managing large-scale analytics teams.
• Extensive knowledge of credit risk analytics and underwriting strategy.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SAS, and R.
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks and data quality management.
• Experience migrating databases from on-premise to cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects via formal project charters, resource management, and planning.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling BFSI analytics for large KPOs or banks in India or overseas.
• Direct experience dealing with regulatory bodies.
• Exposure to unstructured data analytics, Big Data, and Cloud computing.
