Description

Develop end-to-end software and firmware test infrastructure for power management, boot loaders, scheduling, RTOS, and bare-metal implementations.

Responsibilities

• Build software and tools to automate testing across devices and interfaces, from host-side tools to low-level embedded systems.
• Debug issues across the hardware and software stack, including consumer electronics, mobile apps, and web.
• Review software, firmware, hardware, and IP architectures to ensure testability and evaluate integration risk.
• Design testing approaches to ensure coverage across unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Support all development phases, including architecture requirements for custom silicon, FPGA debug, and chip bring-up.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software and test experience, specifically related to embedded systems.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Technical knowledge of hardware interfaces including UART, SPI, CSI-2, I2C, and USB.
• Experience with FPGA and hardware debug environments.
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems and diagnostic equipment like oscilloscopes and bus analyzers.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues.

Preferred Skills

• C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with UBOOT or bare-metal programming.
• Experience with peripherals such as GPIO, USB, or PCIe.
