Description

You will manage Sybase database support services across production and non-production environments on a 24x7 rotation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and respond to system and performance alerts around the clock.
• Perform routine maintenance including patching and handling database-related service requests.
• Respond to production-affecting incidents as part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with Database Platform Administrators, System Administrators, and Application Support teams to maintain availability targets.
• Manage high availability and disaster recovery scenarios.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on expertise with Sybase ASE 16 SP4.
• Experience with Sybase Replication Server 16 SP3.
• Proficiency in SAP IQ 16.1.
• Administration experience on Oracle Solaris SPARC.
• Administration experience on Linux.
• Strong background in managing high availability and disaster recovery architectures.
