Description

You will manage, optimize, and automate Sybase, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL database environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for MSSQL, Sybase, and PostgreSQL functionalities.
• Analyze and resolve complex database performance issues and tuning requirements.
• Design and implement automated solutions using DevOps constructs.
• Execute SME activities for High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain high quality standards for workflows, processes, tooling, and applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Sybase Database Administration.
• Proficiency in MS SQL management.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of Unix environments.
• Ability to implement automation via DevOps practices.
• Experience managing High Availability and Disaster Recovery configurations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Cloud environments.
• DevOps implementation experience.
