You will manage and maintain complex database environments, focusing on Sybase and related technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Sybase and SAP Sybase database instances.
• Maintain database availability using Sybase RepServer and clustering technologies.
• Execute database migrations and administration tasks across Linux environments.
• Automate routine database operations and deployment workflows.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval and performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database engineering.
• Deep expertise in Sybase and SAP Sybase.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and OracleASM.
• Proficiency with MSSQL Server.
• Strong scripting skills using Python and Shell.
• Experience with Ansible for automation.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience managing Cassandra databases.
• Familiarity with Veritas and clustering setups.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sybase RepServer.
