Description

Manage and maintain Sybase ASE environments across on-premises and Azure Cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install Sybase ASE servers and manage database upgrades to the latest versions.
• Execute database migrations from on-premises environments to Azure Cloud.
• Manage backups and restores using third-party tools and custom scripts.
• Configure and monitor database replication, including table-level and MSA/database-level replication.
• Apply EBF/SR patches and maintain disaster recovery setups using log shipping.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Deep expertise in Sybase ASE 15.7 and 16.0.
• Hands-on experience with Sybase Products.
• Proven experience with Azure Cloud migrations.
• Proficiency in SQL Tuning.
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC.
• Ability to apply architecture design concepts and communicate them to stakeholders.
