Sys Admin Operations

You will manage AWS infrastructure and support core system applications within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer AWS core services including ECS, RDS, and Lambda while managing access control via IAM.
• Monitor AWS resource usage and costs using CloudWatch to implement optimization strategies.
• Provide 24/7 production support using CloudWatch, Signify, and Runscope.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python scripting and CloudFormation.
• Manage ServiceNow queues to respond to end-user requests and implement scheduled environment updates via Jenkins pipelines.
• Support developer deployments through CI/CD pipelines and participate in disaster recovery exercises.

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of AWS administration experience.
• Experience working within the banking or financial domain.
• Proficiency with AWS Lambda and RDS.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows administration.
• Experience with Python for automation.
• Knowledge of CloudFormation and Jenkins pipelines.
• Experience with data tools including Snowflake, Databricks, and Looker.
• Basic Network Administration skills.
• Ability to support production environments on a 24/7 rotation.
