Description

Manage Linux server environments, virtualization infrastructure, and NetApp storage systems to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer, install, configure, and patch Linux servers while monitoring system performance.
• Build, deploy, and decommission physical servers, virtual machines, and virtualization infrastructure using VMware.
• Monitor system alerts, resolve security vulnerabilities, and troubleshoot hardware or OS failures.
• Perform storage administration tasks including NetApp management, migrations, and capacity planning.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues and participate in 24x7 on-call support.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Linux System Administration and server operations.
• Strong expertise in VMware virtualization technologies.
• Hands-on experience with NetApp storage platforms and storage migrations.
• Proficiency in server provisioning, patch management, and system troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure operations and security remediation.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis in production environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, System Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with 24x7 production support and outage resolution.
