Description

Lead system administration operations across servers, storage, virtual environments, and network platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee system performance, capacity planning, monitoring, and incident response.
• Implement and maintain security standards, access controls, and system hardening.
• Manage installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades for OS and infrastructure services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to system administrators and support engineers.
• Support disaster recovery planning, implementation, and scheduled testing.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role, including leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Expertise with virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
• Experience managing enterprise backup, recovery, and storage solutions.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls).
• Strong understanding of IT security, user access management, and system compliance.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
