Description

You will manage and optimize database performance, application deployments, and core system infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage PostgreSQL databases, including replication, indexing, backups, and query performance tuning.
• Deploy and maintain Express.js, React, and Node.js applications using NGINX and PM2 on Linux VMs.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Oversee on-premises infrastructure to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and redundancy.
• Execute system hardening, data encryption, and access control policies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in system administration or related roles.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration (Ubuntu or RHEL).
• Experience with PERN stack application deployment.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and SSH hardening.
• Experience with IAM tools such as Entra ID, Okta, or Active Directory.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in DevSecOps, SRE, or IT infrastructure roles.
