Description

You will manage and support a large cluster of servers across on-premises data centers and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-premises and cloud infrastructure using Grafana, Zabbix, and native cloud tools to ensure uptime.
• Configure and manage cloud services including compute instances, block volumes, object storage, VCNs, and load balancers.
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and cloud CLI.
• Automate routine tasks and operational processes using Bash, Python, Perl, or Ruby scripting.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow ITSM tools within defined SLAs.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in system administration supporting web/hosting environments.
• Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals, including file system troubleshooting and OS-level tools (sed, awk, grep, lsof, strace, top).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of networking protocols including DNS, HTTP, TCP, and UDP.
• Experience managing web servers such as Apache, Nginx, BIND, Exim, or Dovecot.
• Understanding of storage solutions including RAID, DAS, SAN, and NAS.
• Familiarity with firewall tools like iptables and CSF.
• Experience with MySQL database servers.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Infrastructure Certifications (OCI, AWS, or Azure) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
• Advanced scripting in Python, Bash, Go, or PHP.
