Description

Support 24/7 life safety operations onsite in Colonial Heights, VA. Configure and maintain Windows and Linux servers, monitoring resources for anomalies. Respond to Tier 1 support, break/fix, and connection issues. Deploy desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware. Maintain project documentation, architecture records, and inventory. Support cybersecurity controls, threat hunting, and mitigation. Participate in a required on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Windows and Linux servers, monitoring for anomalies.
• Deploy and configure desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware.
• Respond to Tier 1 support, break/fix requests, and connection issues.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, architecture records, and inventory.
• Support cybersecurity controls, threat hunting, and mitigation efforts.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience with Desktop/Laptop/Server hardware and applications.
• 3-5 years of experience with General Network administration and hands-on network equipment.
• 3-5 years of experience with Virtualization and Backup and Recovery.
• 3-5 years of experience with General Database management.
• 1-2 years of experience with Patch Management and Task Automation.
• 1-2 years of experience with Help Desk Support.
• 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Colonial Heights, VA.

Preferred Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
• 1-2 years of experience with SQL, PHP, Bash, or PowerShell.
