Description

Manage on-site telephony and network hardware deployments in a hybrid plant environment. Execute the migration of site telephony from a PBX environment to a VoIP environment. Identify optimal VoIP phone placement and determine appropriate network cabinet connections during facility walkthroughs. Physically install hardware, including desk phones, and identify potential installation roadblocks. Support a senior network engineer with various technical tasks as required. Maintain high safety awareness while navigating a large industrial facility.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant technical roles.
• Knowledge of telephony acronyms and general networking terms.
• Ability to physically walk large facilities and perform manual hardware installations.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability for occasional overtime and weekend work.

Preferred Skills

• Network+ certification.
