Description

You will maintain and manage physical infrastructure within the data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain structured cabling systems, including fiber (SM/MM) and copper (Cat5e/6/6a).
• Document and map connectivity using established labeling standards and cable documentation.
• Manage assets, capacity, and connectivity using DCIM platforms.
• Maintain accurate patching records, rack elevations, and device templates.
• Collaborate with network, server, and data center operations teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration or data center operations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio for network and rack diagramming.
• Hands-on knowledge of DCIM platforms, preferably Sunbird.
• Experience mapping NIC ports, switch ports, MAC addresses, and interface roles.
• Understanding of firmware data currency, device models, and configuration accuracy.
• Familiarity with workflow, change management, and MACD processes.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline for audit readiness.
