Description

You will manage and support large-scale Linux environments and server infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute upgrades and migrations for end-of-life operating systems across approximately 75,000 devices.
• Perform triage and root cause analysis for system incidents.
• Execute scheduled changes to server environments.
• Monitor and tune system performance and hardware configurations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (7, 8, and 9).
• Deep expertise in Linux/UNIX System Administration and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Client and Dell x86 hardware platforms.
• Practical understanding of ITIL incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Experience with SAN/NAS technology to support server-side issues.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to coordinate with various technology partners.
• Proficiency with Linux, VMware, Red Hat, and ITIL incident management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RedHat LEAPP in-place upgrades and RedHat Cluster Services.
• Knowledge of LVM, Veritas Volume management, and DMZ environments.
• Experience with automation tools such as BladeLogic, shell scripting, Ansible Tower, or Tanium.
