Description

You will own the end-to-end execution of complex data migrations and server administration for the IT M&A team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own data migration projects from due diligence and discovery through to execution and post-migration support.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Robocopy scripts, PowerShell scripts, and Excel formulas for data movement.
• Administer and support Production and test environments, including VMWare and Azure infrastructure.
• Publish support documentation and provide clear technical updates to the Systems Operations Manager and global teams.
• Lead technical project meetings and communicate effectively with non-technical staff regarding BAU and project requests.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in system administration and server management.
• Deep understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Shares, and NTFS Permissions.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, Robocopy, and Batch Files for large data set migrations.
• Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID and Azure fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of SFTP protocols and file server management.
• Hands-on experience with VMWare virtualization and on-premise datacentre hardware.
• Ability to troubleshoot user access issues and collaborate with Network teams on VPN concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SaaS file sharing products such as Dropbox or ShareFile.
• Familiarity with RClone for data migration tasks.
