Description

You will design, build, and deploy Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions, including scalable landing zones and session hosts. This role leads the migration from Citrix to AVD, managing user profiles, applications, and workload transitions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Nerdio Manager for Enterprise to automate deployments, optimize resources, and enable autoscaling.
• Implement FSLogix profile management, golden images, and application delivery strategies to enhance user experience.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to Azure AD (Entra ID), Active Directory, networking, and security.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to improve platform stability and reduce operational costs.
• Lead Citrix-to-AVD migration projects and optimize Azure infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise VDI Engineering, End-User Computing, or virtualization technologies.
• Strong expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
• Proficiency in Azure AD (Entra ID) and Active Directory administration.
• Experience with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise and FSLogix.
• Ability to automate deployments using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
• Microsoft AZ-140 certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cloud Computing, Engineering, or a related technical field.
