Description

You will manage and maintain local, wide, and wireless network systems alongside server-side technology.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet systems.
• Analyze workflow, access, information, and security requirements.
• Maintain network and security hardware and software to ensure high availability.
• Implement network security measures, maintain security policies, and apply security patches.
• Monitor system performance and perform necessary maintenance to support users.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience as an IT professional.
• At least 3 years of experience as a systems administrator in Windows or Linux environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft, Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto NGFW, Unix, Linux, MVS/VS, and VMware.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database operations.
• Knowledge of DNS and TCP/IP protocols.
• Familiarity with IT controls and security compliance frameworks such as NIST, CIS, HIPAA, or PCI.
• Technical skills in Python, Shell, and Linux RHCE.
• Ability to complete Department of Revenue Security Clearance requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large enterprise environments with 100+ servers.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Usage of monitoring and management tools like Syslog, Puppet, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Tenable, or Tanium.
• Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Security+, GIAC, CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
